Thrust Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Thrust Cylindrical Roller Bearings are a particular type of rotating bearing are designed to only carry axial loads in one direction and slight shock loads. However, their loading capacity is much higher than thrust ball bearings with same dimensions. They can limit axial displacement of shafts or housing in one direction, so can be as axial locating bearings in one direction. the slippage will formed on the raceways because of the linear velocity differences of two ends of rollers while rolling.

So the limiting speed of these bearings is lower than thrust ball bearings, and they are usually applied to low speed applications. Metal machined solid cages are used for cylindrical roller thrust bearings which are standard design, but other cages also can be provided according to customers.

Features & Benefits

  • These bearings use cylindrical rollers and have single-row, double-row, and three-row types for larger load capacities.
  • They support axial loads only, are suited to high loads, and have high axial rigidity.
  • Modular Design
  • Service life can be extended

  • Heavy machine tools
  • Automotive industry
  • Gear Boxes for marine vessels
  • Metal industry
  • Mining industry
  • Oil rigs
  • Vertical machines
